About our Facilitation Skills training
Badly-run meetings and workshops can result in wasted time, unnecessary conflict, lack of progress, and frustration. Running meetings and workshops is part of everyday project- and office-life. However, very few people run highly-productive meetings! If meetings/workshops are not well-planned or facilitated, they can eventually affect employee morale and desire to participate again.
This one-day participative workshop shows attendees how to plan and conduct the most productive and effective meetings and workshops. It provides attendees with the skill-sets and tools to run, facilitate and manage meetings of any type. It also includes a detailed methodology on how to gather project requirements in a workshop style environment.
The main learning objective of our Facilitation Skills workshop is gaining an understanding of the best practice principles for running and facilitating the most engaging and useful meetings and workshops possible.
At the end of this workshop, you will know how to:
- Define an agenda for crystal clear outcomes;
- Document the meeting or workshop (i.e., assigning actions, minutes, preparing and presenting reports etc.);
- Gather project requirements;
- Resolve conflict in meetings; and
- Run virtual meetings.
