As we emerge from COVID19 restrictions, the world of work continues to evolve in a changing environment. Public sector HR professionals play a critical role in managing the challenges and opportunities that will arise as people return to the physical workplace. These include the right to disconnect, the right to request remote working (the Right to Request Remote Working Bill is expected to be enacted in 2022) and the development of hybrid working arrangements. The biggest challenge facing public sector organisations is talent management – the need to attract, develop and retain people in an inclusive way to deliver high quality public services.

Against this background, PAI’s accredited 3 day certificate in HR Management is designed to help people develop their knowledge and understanding of:

· best practice HR strategies, models and approaches

· the current and emerging HR policy and legal framework

· key HR activities – workforce planning, recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations and wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion, learning and development

I have been delivering this 3 day programme since 2015, and feedback from the programme is consistently and highly positive. I am really looking forward to our forthcoming programme which starts on 7 March 2022.

“A great oversight on a broad range of topics, Sile was excellent in explaining policies and procedures through the application to relatable examples” – Niall Scanlon, Charities Regulator
