Seminar Overview
The constant evolution of technology has led to a variety of social media tools in the workplace ranging from traditional social media platforms and networking sites to video sharing sites and internal messaging platforms.
Social media plays a key role in marketing, HR and customer support and is highly effective in assisting internal communication among public sector organisations.
However, when social media is used in the workplace as part of an organisation’s communications strategy, questions can arise regarding complex legal issues including data protection, employment law, defamation and privacy.
This seminar aims to make delegates and organisations aware of the legal risks involved with social media and will advise how to employ tactics to avoid potential problems by implementing a best practice approach and social media policy in the workplace.
