Seminar Overview

Regulating in the public interest refers to the process by which government agencies or regulatory bodies create and enforce rules, policies, and standards to protect and promote the well-being of the general public. Effective public regulation plays a key role in ensuring proper governance and ensures the principles of transparency and accountability are upheld, while maintaining public trust.

PAI’s one day seminar will provide attendees with a comprehensive grounding and understanding of the key provisions of regulation, the impact it has on society and the economy and the various regulatory strategies and legal processes related to regulation. It will focus on the interplay between regulation and society along with a focused guidance on niche regulatory challenges, helping Regulatory Bodies stay ahead of evolving requirements.

Our expert panel will discuss why proper regulation is necessary, the approaches used to regulate effectively and relevant legal processes to include judicial review and appeals.
