About the Seminar
Legal professional privilege protects all communications that occur between a professional legal adviser and their client from being disclosed without the permission of the client.
LLP protects confidential communications and confidential documents between both parties with a view to the legal advisor providing legal services or advice to a client or for use in legal proceedings.
This privilege is designed to protect these confidential discussions and allow the client to communicate freely with their legal advisor and discuss their case in a frank and open manner.
This session provides an overview of privilege, including its types and recent legal developments, with a focus on Freedom of Information, Data Protection, and discovery. It also explores privilege in investigations through practical case studies and examples.
