DESCRIPTION:Day 1: Monday\, 9 November \nDay 2: Monday\, 16 November \nDay 3: Monday\, 30 November \nTimes: 9.30am – 4.00pm \nProgramme Overview  \nGain the foundational knowledge you need to award and monitor your grants and cooperative agreements effectively from pre-award through to project closeout. This 3-day online programme  is designed for employees of Government bodies that award and/or oversee grants and cooperative agreements\, including grants management specialists\, grants officials\, project officers\, governance officials and procurement professionals\, will benefit from this programme . The granting of funds by Irish Government Agencies provides a supporting role to Irish small and medium entities in both the commercial and not-for-profit sector in Ireland. \nOrganisations that award grants enter into a range of commitments and obligations that\, if not properly managed\, could critically hinder both the awarding body and the recipient organisation in achieving its goals. These organisations that are tasked with the responsibility of assessing and selecting organisations for grant approval and often face challenges in ensuring the project goals are met. Therefore\, managing a framework of supports and preparation for the receiving entity can ultimately ensure successful project roll out. \nThis programme  will assist granting bodies establish proper requirements for ensuring the funding received is used for the purposes intended by the receiving agency/ organisation\, and that proper records and reporting structures are maintained throughout the grant life cycle.
