In recent years, policy development has embraced new more inclusive approaches, with an increased emphasis on consultation with key stakeholders and some internet based consultation processes for draft legislation. With the introduction of Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA), policy development has become a more focused and effective process.
This one-day online training course will focus on the requirements for processing a request. It will examine the application of certain exemptions, the appeals process, procedural issues, key OCEI decisions and more. Participants will leave the course with a much more advanced understanding of the AIE Regulations.
PAI’s panel of expert speakers will cover the evaluation tools through a blend of lectures, case-studies and question-and answer sessions.
At the end of the seminar, participants will have a good understanding of how the Public Spending Code should be applied in their workplace.
