The drive for the advancement of data insights and big data within both Public and Private sector organisations is gathering speed.

With a growing focus on enabling data-driven cultures, organisations are realising the benefits of harnessing this capability to ensure future scalability.

Whether the ambitions are for strategic financial growth or to ensure regulatory compliance (eg. meeting net-zero targets), organisations are realising the true value of building AI technology within a collaborative and innovation-oriented partner ecosystem.

In the move toward technological progress, public institutions and governments will play a crucial role in leading this journey while upholding ethical and legal standards for its responsible use.

But how are AI and Big Data systems being regulated? Is there sufficient guidance for data controllers?… and do GDPR clarifications need to be expanded and strengthened in order to support controllers in this task?
