On Tuesday July 12, four chairpersons recently appointed to government agencies, will for the first be scrutinised by an Oireachtas Committee for the first time next week.

According to a press release issued from the Houses of the Oireachtas, the Joint Oireachtas Committee on the Environment, Transport, Culture and the Gaeltacht will question the recent appointees to the position of chairperson of CIE (Vivienne Jupp), Dublin Bus (Kevin Bonner), Bus Éireann (Paul Mallee) and Iarnród Éireann (Phil Gaffney).

The Committee will set out to question their suitability to the post and allow Committee members to discuss their plans and raise issues of concern  in relation to Ireland’s public transport system.
