The Small Business Advisory Group was launched today by Minister of State, John Perry, TD with Taoiseach Enda Kenny in attendance. The aim of the Group is to increase communication and cooperation between government and small businesses.
The Minister for Small Businesses, Mr Perry commented on the current financial climate saying that they are facing the “most difficult backdrop” in terms of public funds. The Taoiseach spoke more optimistically and stressed that his government are “committed to making Ireland the best small country in which to do business”.
The Group is chaired by Mr Perry and is made up of various industry representatives and government officials.
