Mr Oliver Ellingham has been appointed to the Board of NAMA. He will take up the position from April 10 2013.   

Mr Ellinghan is a chartered accountant and former Head of Corporate Finance (Europe) at BNP Paribas and senior executive within BNP Paribas UK.  He has previously held senior management roles within Charterhouse Bank and Robert Fleming.

 Mr Ellingham previously served as a non-executive director with IBRC between 2011 and 2013; with McCarthy & Stone plc between 2008 and 2009; Notting Hill Housing Trust between 2009 and 2010; and Cenkos Securities plc from July 2010 to July 2011.

 He also currently holds non-executive directorships in a number of companies including Vislink plc and the Naafi Pension Fund and is also Chairman and owner of Woking Storage Solutions.

 Commenting on the appointment the Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan TD, said:“Mr Ellingham has significant international experience in finance at both a senior management and board level and his skills and experience will make him an asset to the Board of NAMA”.

Frank Daly, Chairman of the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA), has also welcomed the appointment and said “he is well placed to make a valuable contribution to the Board of NAMA”.
