Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan TD, is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill future vacancies for non-executive positions on the Board of the Irish Film Board.
Minister Deenihan has encouraged interested members of the public to apply and said: “Over the past 12 months up to 60 films, television series and documentaries have been made in Ireland. I want to see the film sector playing a strong role in Ireland’s economic recovery and would encourage candidates who believe that they are qualified for membership of the Irish Film Board to apply for consideration for positions on the board that may arise in the future.”
An advertisement seeking expressions of interest has been published on the website of the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
