The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, and the Minister of State for Small Business, John Perry TD, have launched “Managing out of the Crisis”, a simple guide to assist small businesses in difficulty.

As well as containing simple advice for businesses that are facing difficulties, including a list of warning signs to watch out for, the guide also contains information on organisations that can be of further assistance to these businesses.

Developed following recommendations made by the Advisory Group for Small Businesses in their report “The Voice of Small Businesses”, the guide will be displayed on the website of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and will soon be available in other relevant organisations such as the CBE network, banks and business representative organisations.

Minister Perry hopes that the guide will help small business to “have the confidence to start tackling any problems they may have and work their way through them” as “the sooner that businesses spot potential problems, the sooner they can fix them”.
